We had the pleasure of providing our Magic Mirror Photo Booth at Marlborough Town Hall, and it’s a venue that really stands out for its elegance and character.
Located right on the High Street in the heart of Marlborough, the Town Hall is a historic building dating back to the early 1900s. The setting alone makes it feel like a special occasion before you’ve even stepped inside.
Inside, the main event space is the Assembly Room, which is positioned on the first floor and accessed via a grand staircase. The room itself is an impressive space, featuring chandeliers, a painted vaulted ceiling and a balcony overlooking the High Street, giving it a real sense of occasion.
The Town Hall offers a number of different rooms for events, including the Assembly Room, Court Room and Council Chamber, making it a versatile venue for everything from weddings and private parties to concerts, dinners and community events.
In terms of size, the Assembly Room can accommodate around 200 guests seated or up to 290 standing, making it ideal for larger celebrations while still maintaining an intimate feel.
From our experience working there, the space works brilliantly for a photo booth setup. There’s plenty of room for guests to gather without it feeling crowded, and the layout allows the booth to become part of the evening rather than something tucked away.
The venue also includes useful features such as a bar area, kitchen facilities and a stage, which makes it well suited for full evening receptions and entertainment.
One of the things we particularly liked about Marlborough Town Hall is how well it blends historic charm with practical event space. It feels grand without being overwhelming, and guests naturally relax into the atmosphere as the evening progresses.
The front steps and surrounding High Street also provide a fantastic backdrop for photos, which adds even more to the experience for weddings and special events.
If you're planning an event at Marlborough Town Hall and looking to add something interactive, our Magic Mirror Photo Booth fits perfectly within the space and helps create fun, memorable moments for guests of all ages.
